Establishing a Daily Practice
with Geshe Thubten Sherab
Saturday, January 8, 2022 10:00am – 11:30am: morning session 1:00pm – 2:30pm: afternoon session All times are PST (Pacific Standard Time). We are using the Zoom video conferencing system for this event. This program is for students at all levels. Geshela will teach on how to organize a simple daily practice that we can integrate into our lives, to bring about the most benefit. In the morning session Geshela will touch on how to begin the day, and in the afternoon session he will describe and lead a purification practice. Students of all levels will benefit from this program, as we all need a little help re-centering ourselves from time to time, to maintain enthusiasm in our practice.

Geshe Thubten Sherab, a student of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa since childhood, brought this direct lineage of teachings to New Mexico in 2001. Geshe Sherab held the position of headmaster of the Mount Everest School at Kopan Monastery in Nepal, and was appointed to serve as acting abbot of Kopan Monastery for one year. Since 2014, he spends 6 months in Santa Fe as Thubten Norbu Ling’s Resident Geshe, and 6 months teaching abroad.
